About the team

The Wix Blog team creates one of the worlds leading blogging platforms. We help millions share ideas, create, manage, and monetize their content. You will have the opportunity to work with a development team of professionals that deeply values user experience.

Its a challenging and dynamic product where youll tackle diverse areas like content editing, management, AI integration, monetization tools, mobile apps, comments, and customization of product - all to help build the best blogs possible.

Job Description:

We love passionate people who are both masters of backend architecture and have a meticulous approach to code quality. We're looking for an Experienced Backend Engineer to join a group fully located in Vilnius, that owns multiple products.

Build backend systems with the latest technologies and grow as an industry expert
Learn new skills and work alongside top backend engineers
Solve complex problems with smart, straightforward solutions
See your code reach millions of users every day
Write clean, tested code that solves hard problems simply
Share your knowledge and help the developer community grow

Requirements:

2+ years of software development experience
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Willing to learn and work with any technology stack (we have NodeJs, Scala, Java, Kafka, Mongo, MySQL, but this list is continuously evolving)
Curious about building and scaling high-traffic, resilient systems
Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
