We are now seeking a Finance accountant to help us further build the future of food. You will be based in Vilnius, Lithuania and report to the Finance Manger Baltics. You will be part of a Baltics Finance team. This is a temporary position for the period of implementing new business software for at least 1,5 years.

In this role, you will perform timely and professional accounting of receivables, payables and fixed assets of Paulig Lietuva UAB in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

You will contribute to the successful implementation of new business software.

What you will do:

Ensure high quality in process scanning, checking, coding and approval for purchase invoices in purchase invoice to pay system
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details in ERP
Reconciliation of suppliers statements (Paulig Lietuva), perform reconciliations in ERP
Responsible for monthly closure of purchase ledger
Account receivable and bank related tasks (Reconciliation of banks, customers statements and balance control)
Forwarding costs invoicing between group companies
Travel and other claims processing, administration of users
Fixed assets accounting (depreciation, write-offs, sales, inventory, reporting)
Statistical reporting (incl: intrastat, GPAIS report)
Administration of car leasing, mobile phone, computers database
Submitting fuel consumption control monthly report

What we expect from you:

Degree in accounting or finance
Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
Knowledge of Lithuanian tax and accounting principles
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good computer skills (MS Office, knowledge of SAP accounting software, Infor M3 would be an advantage)
Very good level of Lithuanian and good level of English spoken skills
You are a good communicator and a team player, who is systematic and punctual in your work
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in the international team
Willingness to learn and develop with the company
