We are inviting you to join one of our General Ledger Accounting Teams and ensure that accounting standards are maintained in compliance with accounting policies. As GL Accountant you will be preparing financial reports and analyzing key trends and variances as well as creating clear and concise narratives.
If you are detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture and are interested in joining an international team to share and learn best practices of General Ledger Accounting this is the place for you!
Responsibilities:
- Performing analysis and preparing commentary for close and period-end reporting and supporting with preparation and filing of statutory accounts
- Reviewing monthly/quarterly balance sheet reviews and account reconciliations, and ensuring they are done in a timely manner and in accordance with the accounting policy
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies throughout all areas of accounting
- Managing routine journals and preparing exceptional journals within Balance Sheet account
- CAPEX Planning & Budgeting
- Managing fixed Asset Accounting, including Transfer and Split Asset Accounting
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in the field of accounting
- Good knowledge and understanding of Close & Period End Reporting, Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, and General Ledger Accounting
- Advanced English language skills
- Good communication skills: the ability to clearly articulate expectations and outcomes with various levels of management, both in Finance and Business
Nice to have:
- Accounting qualifications like CA, CPA, ACCA
- Experience working in a Business Service Senter/ Shared Service Senter
- Knowledge of accounting principles and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
