What you will be doing

You will become an integral part of high performing central customer focused team in Vilnius and provide customers courteous, professional, and efficient back-office service. You will be responsible for providing export compliance and regulatory compliance support to Customer Service, Operation teams, Sales, Clients, and network partners to ensure all exports and domestics shipments transported by World Courier, USA complies with US regulations such as the TSA, EAR, ITAR, OFAC, DEA, FWS, HMR and other regulatory agencies with export controls. Additionally, you will assist with periodic audits to assess compliance risk, and work across-organization functions to train, and develop procedures and practices to mitigate compliance risk.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct Transportation Security Administration (TSA) audits to ensure associates are properly following and using good documentation practices in compliance with the TSA Known Shipper policy.
Run and export shipment reports; Filter, research and report findings which are used to analyze department compliance rates and other critical department trends.
Use Quality Management Systems and practices to identify compliance trends and report deviations to leadership which assist with determining non-compliance root causes and mitigate vulnerability.
First point-of-contact, interacting with internal teams and clients assisting with inquiries related to US export compliance and TSA policies and practices.
Assist with associate reeducation by demonstrating and communicating best practices, providing feedback on deviations, and encouraging compliance with company‘s process and procedures.
Assist with support needs across the team during downtime, which may include conducting audits, managing inquiries related to Denied Party Screening and Electronic Export Information (EEI) filing tasks.
Adhere to all procedures, work instructions, and regulatory requirements in performing the job.
Build and maintain relationships with other World Courier offices, clients, agents, airlines, handling agents and suppliers.

What your background should look like

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
Previous experience in Compliance and/or Customer Service.
Knowledge in Logistics would be an advantage.
Experience in Export Compliance would be an advantage.
Fluency in English.
Effective oral and written communication.
Strong MS Excel skills.
Proactive customer focus.
Ability to represent a positive and professional image.
Ability to work independently.
Good organizational skills and pay attention to detail.
Strong problem solving, analytical and investigative skills to bring issues to resolution.

Working hours:
Saturday to Wednesday 15:00 – 24:00 (1 hour of lunch included)
Working on public holidays is required and will be paid according to Lithuanian legislation at a rate of 2.
Night-time hours from 22:00 to 24:00 will be paid at a rate of 1.5.
