Web Development Team Leader • Telemedic

We are currently inviting an ambitious WEB Developer Team Lead  to join our growing R&D team in Vilnius, Lithuania and support the Teltonika Telemedic team. We design and develop next-generation medical devices, and we also solve current healthcare challenges. We aim to create and deliver smart solutions that are easily accessible to diverse communities, medical professionals and the elderly. We are currently working on a unique smart watch that can detect atrial fibrillation, and we are also developing a professional artificial lung ventilator.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Coordinate teamwork according to Agile (Scrum) principles;
• Ensure that company defined programming standards and procedures are followed by the team members;
• Together with a team design and produce high quality, tested and maintainable code;
• Collaborate with other departments in analyzing, evaluating and implementing complex solutions;
• Refactoring and reviewing code, providing feedback to team members;
• Investigation and resolution of issues reported by internal and external partners;
• Assist team members to achieve a common goal.

WE BELIEVE THAT YOU:

• Have at least 2 years of experience with NodeJS (or any other backend programming language like Java, C#, Go);
• Have experience with system administration and configuration;
• Have experience working with SQL or/and NoSQL databases;
• Gave strong "You build it, you run it" mindset;

IDEALLY, YOU’LL ALSO HAVE:

• The ownership of product features, from design to development, deployment and maintenance - to ensure they are consistent and efficient;
• Pro-activity and willingness to work with different technologies;
• Analytical thinking for generating ideas;
• Good understanding of Source Control Management especially Gitlab;
• Experience implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery;
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK or Terraform (writing custom modules, managing upgrades, working with AWS providers);
• Experience with application metrics, performance monitoring, and optimization;
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting technologies: Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack and related;
• Hands-on experience in public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure);
• Comfortable with at least one scripting language (Bash, JavaScript, Python, Go);
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with partners and team members;
• Maintain a pulse on emerging technologies and discover hidden opportunities in our environment.

OUR OFFER 

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position ranges from 25 Eur/h up to 35 Eur/h (~4300 Eur – 6000 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.

*In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
