Job description
Purpose of the role:
The holder of the position is responsible for determining and ensuring the optimal operating parameters of the production lines, their regulation, and the improvement of product quality. As a Production Process Engineer one supports technical engineering teams, draws up safety protocols, reports issues to the management team, and develops strategies to improve efficiency and profitability metrics.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring adherence to occupational health, safety, civil, and fire safety standards based on country and company regulations
- Active participation in new product development, introduction to manufacturing processes as well as production parameter setting
- Evaluating the feasibility and suitability of new production machinery and its employment possibilities
- Analyzing product quality and making production improvements, related to waste out of plant and, quality and production metrics improvement
- Consulting line managers on employee training needs as well as taking an active part in new employee training
- Creating & renewing ISO standard documentation
- Supervising the production process (binder department, hardening, refrigeration, packaging, lamella bar, loose wool) and analyzing, adjusting the process and informing the Production Manager about necessary changes on time, as well as ensuring the flow of technological information in the production department, reporting
- Optimizing the use of material, energy, and human resources
Requirements
- College or University education (preferably in engineering sciences)
- Working experience in production – min 2 years
- Good working English knowledge (both spoken and written)
- Good teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently
- Result orientation, innovative thinking, superb analytical skills
