Job description
- Well-timed and accurate each monthly closing covering necessary ERPs and accounting ledger reconciliations & accruals;
- Ensuring that daily accounting operations are done in accordance with the legislation of the Lithuanian Republic, IFRS and best practices;
- Ensure timely and efficient Annual audit and Tax reviews, as well as annual inventory;
- Performing month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries;
- Controlling and approving payments (payroll, invoices, taxes and other);
- Liaising with Accounting Manager, particularly when coordinating efforts during the month end close;
- Providing support during the audits and liaising with external auditors;
- Preparation of VAT, CIT and fiscal returns & supports the preparation of all required financial declarations/reports as requested by public and financial institutions;
- Ongoing review of the accounting team work, including close management of work during month end;
- Monthly/Yearly closings.
Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting for finance companies;
- Knowledge of Legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting and taxes;
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken);
- Proficient computer and MS Excel skills (LOOKUPs; PIVOT; SUMIF etc.);
- Analytical skills and ability to pay attention to details;
- Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize the work;
- Responsible, result oriented, having a desire to grow and improve in professional field.
