Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a global setting? Join our European team as a Credit Control Lead, where you'll lead strategic initiatives to optimize our collections strategies across the continent. Reporting to the EU Credit & Collections Leader, you'll be instrumental in driving efficiency, enhancing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse European collections team, fostering collaboration and enhancing performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to improve collections processes, implement best practices, and optimize workflow.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs, monitor team performance, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Process Optimization: Streamline collections processes, ensure compliance, and implement technology solutions for efficiency.
- Training and Development: Develop training programs, keep the team informed about industry trends, and enhance skills.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize collections strategies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports, offer insights, and utilize data analytics to drive informed decisions.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with collections processes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Customer Relations: Maintain a customer-centric approach, address inquiries, and balance debt recovery with positive relationships.
- Budget Oversight: Manage the collections budget effectively, providing financial forecasts and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's and/or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Econimics or related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proven experience in collections management, preferably in a European context.
- In-depth knowledge of debt recovery processes, regulations, and compliance.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with diverse European markets and languages is a plus.
