I am Catrin Alm, leading a team of six Product Owners and two Data Analysts in the Pay TV area at Telia Company. We are working with Telia TV/Play on the common tv/Streaming platform which today serves Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway markets. I am looking to strengthen my team with a driven Product Owner with a dedicated focus on our content quality. Position is in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The Product Owner role within the Pay TV organization in Telia Company is responsible for the end-user experience in a specified segment of the customer journey. The role works closely to business managers, content partners, UX designers, data analysists and developers to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met at all stages of the product life cycle ranging from conceptual ideation to phase-out/end of life. Having an excellent ability to combine multiple disciplines to understand the challenges of engineering and business are key to success, as is the ability to easily switch views between the current here-and-now and the longer-term strategical positioning next-to-follow.

Content and metadata integrations with our partners is the absolute core in our service and the ground for all Content discovery either if it is about creating a new sports experience or making sure Telia Play is an inspiring service with great images, relevant descriptions and correct data for playback.

Responsibilities

• The design, usability, quality and delivery of content, the core and baseline for Content discovery.

• Meeting product KPIs and using available analytics and customer feedback to steer development.

• Contribute to the overall product vision with insights from the product area of viewing experience. Maintain 12-24 months roadmap with steps to reach our product vision.

• Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with roadmap at each stage of the development lifecycle.

• Lead and organize product development initiatives and product life cycle management.

• Secure and follow up deliveries and customer feedback towards KPIs and value drivers.

• Lead the product discovery process by applying best practices within quantitative and qualitative research combining business, customer, and tech perspectives.

• Inspire and motivate the development teams to deliver innovative and exciting solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.

• Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally, and as the primary technical contact for queries related to the product.

Experience

• Experience from relevant digital products, preferably end consumer products would be considered as an advantage.

• Excellent communications skills in English (at least B2 level)

• 3 years of experience from similar product owner role

• Software development methodology and tools

• Experience from Media would be considered as an advantage.

• Relevant academic background. Business/IT/Tech
