WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

PLAY Airlines is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Controller to join our growing team in Vilnius.
If you have experience in logistics and procurement, strong negotiation skills, and a passion for aviation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Material Controller, you will report directly to the Manager of Materials and Logistics and play a key role in ensuring efficient logistics operations, procurement, and repair of aircraft parts and materials. You will work closely with various departments and vendors to keep PLAY Airlines running smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Obtain competitive price quotes for all part and material requests.
  • Open and manage Purchase Orders, Repair Orders, Exchange and Forward Exchange Orders.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor PLAYs inventory system, tracking stock levels, identifying surplus and slow-moving items.
  • Manage part agreements such as loan agreements, PBH contracts, and exchanges.
  • Maintain close communication with Engineering, Maintenance Planning, and Maintenance Coordination teams.
  • Liaise with vendors and ensure compliance with approved organization standards.
  • Update and manage the Approved Vendor List, requesting renewed certifications as necessary.
  • Perform other assigned duties related to material and logistics management.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • college/university degree or relevant educational background beneficial for this role.
  • Experience in logistics and/or procurement within the aviation or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation and people skills.
  • Familiarity with Airbus Manuals (IPC, PIPC, AMM, etc.).
  • Understanding of logistics and procurement best practices.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
